Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 14, 2026

I'm Emmanuel Salva Cruz (Lanstrash), a solo indie game developer based in California. This one policy covers all three of my websites:

The short version: these are static sites. There are no accounts and no database of visitors. Google Analytics collects usage data, and if you join my mailing list I keep your email address. That is it.

Google Analytics

Each site runs Google Analytics 4 so I can see which pages people visit and whether anything is broken. It collects standard usage data:

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell repeat visits apart. I only see aggregated reports. I do not know who you are, and I do not try to find out. I have not turned on advertising features or Google Signals, and I do not sell or share this data with anyone. Google processes it on my behalf under Google's privacy policy. Google keeps detailed event data for up to 14 months; aggregated reports may last longer.

Opting out: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies for these sites in your browser. Nothing on the sites will break if you do.

Third-party embeds

Some pages load content from other companies. When they do, that company can see your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy:

Links to Steam, itch.io, Discord, X, YouTube, and similar sites take you off my sites. I am not responsible for their privacy practices.

Mailing list

If you sign up for my mailing list on one of these sites:

Email

If you email me at contact@lanstrash.com, I will have your email address and whatever you wrote. I use it only to reply to you.

Children

These sites are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email me to ask what information I have about you, ask me to delete it, or ask a question about this policy. The analytics data is anonymous and I cannot link it to you, so apart from a mailing list address there is usually nothing to hand over or delete. If you're in California, the EU, or the UK, this covers your rights to access, correct, and delete your data. I will not treat you differently for asking.

Where the data lives

I am in the United States, and Google may process analytics data in the U.S. and other countries. Google's own safeguards apply to those transfers.

Changes

If I change how the sites collect data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
